dear OnlyOffice team,
I am trying to change the file and directory ownership of multiple files. There does not seem to be a batch update functionality available. I looked at the Workspace API, but there also isn’t a function that lets me update the owner (that seems to only be available for DocSpace).
Is there any way I can change the owner of multiple files at once, maybe a folder with all its subfolders and files?
My only idea currently is to download the entire folder and re-upload it with the user who I want to be the future owner…

I’m afraid no such API method exists for Workspace. Possibly changing access rights to a folder in beforehand is a better solution, because version history for files in folders persists.
As an alternative, creating a group for access management can be also useful.
Once any of those options are applied, you can change the owner.
Hi! Thank you for the info, I was afraid of that. After a bulk upload of data in different folders, I configured access rights based on groups. Alas, I am now the only one (as the one who uploaded the files) able to move or delete anything. I hope it doesn’t happen too often. But thanks again for the confirmation!
