Weird behaviour in document when pasting a picture to replace a selected one

Hello

In this doc:
Fiche cahier mémoire incorruptibles.docx (276.8 KB)

When:

  • I select a picture
  • copy it
  • select another picture
  • paste the copied one
    => the cell nearby is cleared.

From my standpoint, it is a bug.

Can you elaborate on this? I did not notice anything like that on the video. I can clearly see that the image from clipboard does not replace selected one, is that the main point of this topic or there is another issue I missed?

Actually, I was thinking that pasting the image cleared the nearby cells.
But looking more carefully at what happens, I see that indeed, it is not the case, both images are in the first column, not clearing the nearby cell but making the line’s height increase.

Si you are right, the “issue” is actually that the selected picture is not replaced when you paste a new one.

I was informed that this is a known issue, it was registered as a bug previously. Thanks for pointing to it again.
