We need the ability to paste plain text content. It is extremely annoying, every time you copy paste text from an online source, you have to battle your way through resetting text formatting. This is a basic feature of Microsoft Office and LibreOffice.

This feature has been available for some time. Please make sure you are using the latest version of our editor.
To paste content without formatting, use the Ctrl+Shift+V (Command+Shift+V on macOS) shortcut. Alternatively, paste the content using the regular shortcut, and then select “Keep text only (T)” from the dropdown menu (see attached screenshot).
