Many of us use Synology Drive to be completely independent from Microsoft & Co.

Of course I can use Onlyoffice with any file that is synced via the Synology Drive Client to my local harddrive, but that lacks the realtime collaboration.

I know, there is Nextcloud, that I could install on my Synology – but then there is no real connect with the Shared Folders, permissions defined in Synology, and so on.

If there was a true integration of Onlyoffice with Synology Drive (respecting roles, rights, permissions, and so on) that would be awesome to many.

Thanks for bringing this up! Unfortunately, this kind of native integration isn’t something we can build from our side at the moment.

Synology Drive uses its own built-in editor for real-time collaboration, and Synology doesn’t expose a WOPI or similar API that would allow a third-party editor like ONLYOFFICE Docs to be plugged in as a replacement.
