Hello,

I’m using ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors Community 9.3.1 on macOS and I would like to request global spreadsheet regional formatting settings for the Mac desktop app.

Please add an easy-to-find option to set:

  • default date format: dd.MM.yyyy
  • decimal separator: .
  • thousands separator: space

Right now I have to format cells manually in each file, which is inconvenient for everyday work. It would be very helpful if these preferences could be set globally for new spreadsheets and optionally override the system locale.

All of these settings are easily accessible from open spreadsheet > File tab > Advanced Settings > Regional settings. To use specific separator that does not correspond to the regional settings, you need to uncheck the option “Use separators based on regional settings” and specify those. The default date format is inherited from your regional settings, unless you are using a custom one from the editor interface (number format).
