G’day Florian,
Did my last test on v.9.3.1.8 line up with your expectations?
As it appeared that I was getting recalculation results on the hidden cells, it might be relevant to the issue at hand.

Yes it seems to be the same issue.
Thank you very much for your time, I am looking forward to your findings!
I still have this issue in version 9.3 and 9.4.
Probably it’s better to start with a new spreadsheet and re-build my sheet. I will try that in the weekend, hope that solves the issue…
Good luck. That sounds like a bit of work. Maybe even a “big” bit.
Hello @fl0rian,
Thank you again for all the details and for your patience.
From our internal checks and the information from our QA team, we can now say that the conditional formatting issues you encountered with IF(...)‑based rules are in line with already known problems in our spreadsheet editor: in some cases rules that work correctly in Excel do not behave the same way in ONLYOFFICE, especially when the formatting is driven by an IF formula. Your examples give us very useful additional scenarios for these existing issues, and they are already being worked on.
For your original file (the N2/M2 formatting, the hidden AB/AC/... calculation columns, and the Dashboard updates), some parts of what you see may be influenced by:
calcMode with explicit “Automatic/Manual” modes stored in the file).Your idea to rebuild the spreadsheet from scratch is a good practical step.
If the issue persists even in a newly built, simplified file, please share that file along with short reproduction steps (and, if possible, a small Excel example showing the expected behavior). We can then treat this as a separate case on top of the already known conditional formatting problems.
We will continue improving conditional formatting compatibility and recalculation behavior, and we will post updates here as soon as there is concrete progress.
Thanks a lot for the insights, I am glad to see, that the issues are handled so actively!
I will report back when I finished re-building my spreadsheet.
