I suggest evaluating the possibility of changing the default file format option in ONLYOFFICE. This adjustment would bring greater convenience to users, allowing documents to be automatically saved in the format most commonly used by the team or compatible with other systems, reducing the need for manual conversions and ensuring greater standardization in processes.

This is already on our radar — we have an internal feature request logged for adding a configurable default save format in ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors(track number - 47711).
No ETA to share just yet, but votes here help us prioritize.
