Hello. I’m trying to recursively search for files by name and or by content. But the search only provides results from the current folder or room that I am located. It won’t recurse down the file folder structure.
Can someone help me understand how to search recursively, and how to search the contents of a file?

At the moment, search in the root Rooms section is designed to search by room name only.
Search by file name and file content is available within a specific room. In other words, to look for documents and their contents, you need to open the required room first and perform the search there.
We already have a related feature request registered for improving this behavior by combining room search and content search in DocSpace, so that users could search more conveniently across rooms and their contents from one place.
At the moment, there is no ETA we can share for this implementation.
As soon as we have any news or updates from the developers, we will update this thread.
