Title: Document view jumps forward several pages when inserting or resizing an image in Multiple Pages view
Environment
- OS: Windows 11
- ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors Community, version 10.0.0.169 (x64, installed via .exe)
- File format: .docx
Description
When I insert an image in a document while using the Multiple Pages view, the view suddenly jumps several pages ahead in the document, and I lose track of where I was working. The same jump happens when I change the image size via Image Advanced Settings.
In my tests, the issue does not happen in single-page view.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new .docx document with several pages of text and switch to Multiple Pages view.
- At the end of a paragraph, press Enter to create a new line.
- On that new line, insert an image, using either:
- copy and paste from the clipboard, or
- Insert > Image > Image from File
- (Alternative) Select an existing image, open Image Advanced Settings, and change its size.
Expected result
The view stays on the page where the image was inserted or resized.
Actual result
The view jumps forward in the document. The jump distance varies: sometimes it is 4–5 pages, other times it goes all the way to the end of the document.
Additional details
- Reproducible in a new, blank document, so it does not depend on a specific file.
- Frequency: intermittent; it does not happen every time.
- Zoom level: changing the zoom has no effect on the issue.
- Not a recent regression: I have been using ONLYOFFICE for about 10 months, and the issue has been present in previous versions as well.
Workaround found
If I press Enter twice, leaving an empty line between the paragraph and the image, the jump does not seem to happen (based on limited testing).
Impact
My company uses ONLYOFFICE to produce reports. In long documents with many images, such as reports and books, this issue makes editing much slower, since I have to scroll back to the right position after every image.

Thank you for your work on ONLYOFFICE. I really enjoy using it, and I’d be glad to provide any additional information or test files.
