Microsoft and Google have integrated AI into their presentation and document writing tools very intuitively. What is ONLYOFFICE’s roadmap in that regard? By when can we expect specific features? Are add-ons the primary approach (similar to, for example, the Work Smarter AI Professor for Google Workspace)? What is the demand from customers, especially concerning digital sovereignty?
Specifically integrating AI writing into document editing in an interacitve way: AI reads, edits, suggests in collaboration, working in the document, applying formatting etc as per e.g. company standards.
The goal should be that AI can update an existing document with new information (unstructured as well as structured) with minimal intervention by users. E.g. updating progress reports, customizing offers based on spreadsheet data (just copy & paste, let AI do the rest) etc

First things first, we already integrated AI into the editor:Use AI assistants in ONLYOFFICE | ONLYOFFICE
This is really powerful and smart tool that can already perform various operations such as editing or generating text, creating images, summarizing content.
You can try it out quickly via the AI plugin in the editor:
A. Go to the Plugins tab and open Plugin Manager. Find the AI plugin and click Install or Update if the plugin is already installed.
B. Activate the plugin via the Plugins tab → Background plugins.
C. Switch to the AI tab → Settings. Under Edit AI models, click the + icon.
Add your preferred AI model. In the Provider name drop-down menu, choose the provider. Enter the API key and click Update models list.
A list of available models will appear. Choose the model that best fits your needs. Click OK.
D. Go back to the Settings. Choose the model for the Chatbot.
That’s it, now you have access to unlimited AI power.
Right now we support various providers such as OpenAI, Together AI, Mistral, Anthropic, Grok, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, Ollama, Stability AI, and custom providers.
As for upcoming AI features, we always stay up to date. Currently we are planning to add AI agent and new AI providers.

To my knowledge, OnlyOffice AI can only process documents. I’m wondering if OnlyOffice supports document vectorization? If it can’t implement RAG functionality, the chatbot’s capabilities are quite limited.
