Printer settings bug

OS version: Linux Manjaro updated to today
App version: 6.4.1
Downloaded from: Manjaro repository

On Linux, OnlyOffice doesn’t override the default system printing settings.
Reproducing:
1 - Set the system defaults: draft printing and only black ink (for example)
2 - Open OnlyOffice and make a colored content document
3 - Open the OnlyOffice Printing Dialog and make the setting for that printing: → color ink (sadly, the OnlyOffice doesn’t offer the draft/normal/optimized print options)
4 - Now print the document. It’ll be only in draft-black color color just as the system defaults. In this case, the OnlyOffice settings had no value.
5 - Other programs printing settings override the system defaults.

Hello,

We apologize for the delay in response!

Could you record a short video demonstrating your actions or send screenshots with each step?

Hello,
Could you please specify the package type installation whether it is snap or not ?

Hello
This ticket seems to be idled, but I think I’m facing the same king of issue on windows with 7.4: the number of copies is not taking into account by the OS:

I also face the same problem with OnlyOffice Desktop version 9.0.4.50, both in Flatpak and rpm on Fedora 42. No print settings changed in OnlyOffice override the system print settings, while in other applications it works normally.

Hello @edsongolinelhi

Please specify what problem do you face exactly.

Thanks for responding. Let me detail the problem:

  1. I need to print a document in landscape orientation.

  2. The OnlyOffice print dialog is configured to print in landscape orientation.

  3. The document prints in portrait orientation, not landscape orientation.

  4. OnlyOffice can’t change Fedora’s print settings. (“Retrato” = “Portrait”)

  5. This error occurs in both Flatpak and rpm formats.

  6. When printing using the Print to PDF option, the PDF file is saved in the correct orientation.

It’s really annoying to have to constantly change the print settings by accessing Fedora’s settings. It’s redundant.

In other applications, printing works normally.

I really like OnlyOffice, and I would greatly appreciate it if this issue were resolved in a future version.

(Excuse the language, I’m using Google Translate)

I was informed that this issue was registered earlier. I am forwarding your query to the bug. I’ll inform you once this issue is resolved.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
