Possible bug: cannot share OnlyOffice window on video call applications (teams, zoom etc)

I cannot screen share documents that are opened with OnlyOffice. I have the same problem with Zoom, Teams and GoogleMeet and in neither of those applications can I share just the OnlyOffice window, since it does not appear as an option. I can share other applications running as flatpaks but not OnlyOffice. Please note that I am running those video conference applications from the browser as well (running latest Brave flatpak).

Could you please share a short screen recording that shows the issue from start to finish, including the moment when you try to share a single application window and the ONLYOFFICE window is not listed?

Also, please send us the following details:

  • desktop environment and session type (GNOME/KDE, X11 or Wayland);
  • graphics stack details if possible;
  • flatpak list output for ONLYOFFICE and Brave;
  • whether the issue occurs only in browser-based Zoom/Teams/Meet, or also in native desktop clients.

That should help us investigate the issue more precisely.

There isn’t a teams application for my distro so I dont know if this happens on the native apps as well. For all such applications I am always opting for the web app and it is the same for all of them.

Sorry I cannot make a video with that as that would require me to edit it heavily in order to redact data

We were able to verify the behavior on our side, and it appears to be specific to the Cinnamon desktop environment. We have already registered this issue in our internal tracker.

Unfortunately, we do not have an exact ETA for a fix at the moment, but we will update this thread as soon as we have any news.
