Just recently I’ve installed the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors app version 9.1.0.167 on my Desktop PC running OS Windows 10 Pro x64-bit.
Prior to installing the app I was looking for a new stand-alone / offline Allround PDF processing software tool (like a Swiss Utility knife so to speak), as to replace my previous default to-go-to PDF tool. And One of the main reasons that I’ve chosen for ONLYOFFICE app, is because of its ability to save EPUB to PDF.
But when I tried to find a way of merging / combining 4 PDF files, I did not find it anywhere in the ONLYOFFICE app. The only thing I found is how to compare and/or combine 2 or more Word documents.
Please see the uploaded screenshot file.
Hey @anotherJohn,
Thanks for the suggestion and the screenshot — totally get it, a built-in PDF merge/combine tool would be super handy.
We’ve logged your request for ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors.
As soon as there’s any news or progress, I’ll update you right here.
Appreciate the feedback!
Hey @anotherJohn,
Thanks again for the suggestion! We’ve logged the request to add a ** merge/combine feature** in ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors.
Unfortunately, I can’t give you a timeline right now — it’s not the simplest task. The more users ask for it, the higher it climbs on our priority list, so feel free to invite anyone who’d love this feature to chime in here!
We’ll keep you posted the moment there’s any progress. Thanks a lot!
Hi there, found this thread because I was looking for the exact same solution in OnlyOffice. I love the program, and introducing this feature would make me love it even more.
So here’s me chiming in

Thanks
for your chiming in
If not already done so, also look for my other three suggestions, the first two regarding Desktop Editors and third one regarding PDF Editor;
- Give users the ability of full control over the amount of ‘Recent files’
- Give users the ability to scan paper documents from a flatbed scanner device within the app
- Give users the ability to compress/optimize PDF files to reduce their file size
Hopefully these suggestions will receive more enthusiastic supporters over time.
Hey @Neighborhood,
Thanks for chiming in — I’ve noted your support for the PDF merge/combine feature in Desktop Editors!
@anotherJohn
It’d be awesome if you could post your other suggestions (Recent files control, scanner integration, PDF compression) as separate threads — that way, more users can easily find and vote on them, and it’s simpler for us to track and update each one individually.
Thanks again — your ideas are helpful!

Thanks for your message.
My other suggestions are already posted separately within the category ‘Suggestions’ from this platform. Please see the attached screenshot file.
Please elaborate what exactly you mean by posting them also as separate threads, and when applicable how to do so?

Hello @anotherJohn
It was probably just a misunderstanding. I can see that you have indeed created separate topics for each suggestion. Many thanks for that.
Thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding.
