1.INSERT PDF (MERGE)- option to insert another PDF in the middle of current PDF pages. Like a Merge feature but can be inserted in between pages.
2. EXTRACT PAGES (SPLIT) - option to extract PDF pages into separate document.
3. SIGNATURE - option to create (import from image/digital certificate) and add signature.
4. WATERMARK - option to create and add watermark.
5. PASSWORD - add password and remove password from already protected document.
6. COVERT - from & to: Word, Excel, PPT, Image, HTML etc.,
7. COMPRESS - compress PDF by size or intensity (high, medium, low).
8. COMPARE - Easily display the differences between two similar files.
9. TRANSLATE - Convert PDF documents into other languages while preserving original formatting.
10. OCR - Convert non-selectable PDF files into selectable and searchable PDF with high accuracy.
11. PAGE NUMBERS - Option to add page numbers into PDFs by choosing positions, dimensions, typography.

Thank you so much for using ONLYOFFICE and for all these thoughtful feature requests — we really appreciate your input and desire to make the PDF tools better!

To keep everything organized and make it easier for the team (and other users) to track and support each idea, could you please check the existing suggestions below and confirm if they match what you’re asking for?
For any that don’t match or need more detail, it would be great if you could create separate new topics for them (one per feature). That way we can discuss each one clearly and other users can easily upvote/support them.

Here’s the quick check:

  3. SIGNATURE - option to create (import from image/digital certificate) and add signature.

    Is that exactly what you’re asking for?

  4. WATERMARK - option to create and add watermark.
    In ONLYOFFICE when creating a PDF from scratch you can already use Layout → Watermark.
    Are you asking for something more (e.g., watermark on existing PDFs or advanced options)?

  5. PASSWORD - add password and remove password from already protected document.
    Currently we support password on open.
    In ONLYOFFICE when creating a PDF from you can already use Protection → Encrypt
    Are you asking for more granular permissions (password on editing, printing, reading, etc.)?

  6. COVERT - from & to: Word, Excel, PPT, Image, HTML etc.,
    Could you add a bit more detail here? (e.g., which directions are most important: PDF → Word, Word → PDF, batch conversion, etc.)

  7. COMPRESS - compress PDF by size or intensity (high, medium, low).
    Already exists as Suggestion (40105)

  8. COMPARE - Easily display the differences between two similar files.
    Sounds like this existing request: Suggestion (65532)
    (Similar to Adobe’s compare tool — https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/how-to/compare-two-pdf-files.html) — does it match?

  9. TRANSLATE - Convert PDF documents into other languages while preserving original formatting.
    This looks very close to the smart OCR + translation idea here:
    AI OCR replacing original scan/image by plain text
    Is that what you mean?

  10. OCR - Convert non-selectable PDF files into selectable and searchable PDF with high accuracy.
    Same as above — does it match the request from user “logo” in that thread?

  11. PAGE NUMBERS - Option to add page numbers into PDFs by choosing positions, dimensions, typography.

    This one is clear, but could you point to an example from another PDF editor (or a screenshot/documentation) so we understand exactly the kind of flexibility you’d like (e.g., header/footer, custom formatting, Bates numbering, etc.)?

Feel free to reply here confirming which ones match existing requests and creating new threads for the rest (or adding more detail to this one if needed).

1-4: fine
5 - already password protected document can only be opened. but want option to remove the password and in normal pdf want option to set password.
6 - batch conversion and single file conversion also. want 2 way conversion as well (pdf -word, ppt, image, and html,image,word,ppt to pdf)
7,8 - fine
9 - similar, but option to translate the texts.
10 - fine
11 - Bento PDF has thia feature for reference. This can be referred for many other feature suggestions as well. (https://www.bentopdf.com/)

Please navigate to File tab > Protect options to see buttons for changing, setting up and deleting the password.

I’ll get some details on this possibility and get back to you.

Just wondering if you have ever seen a processor that allows such modification. From technical point, PDF files are quite complicated as the text is positioned behind a graphical layer, thus getting it and changing without formatting change is quite a task.
