PDF Forms lose data in filled out fields | OnlyOffice DesktopEditors

Hello,

I am experiencing the following issue: I have installed onlyoffice desktopeditors via snap on Ubuntu 25.10 with KDE Plasma 6. I can open PDF files containing forms, however when I save them and reopen them everything in the form fields will be gone. Also my signature, which I am placing as a png file will be removed and only the original form file will persist. As far as I can see, the snap permissions are set up correctly:

When I am creating a normal docx from scratch, it will save all my changes as expected and no data gets lost. I have also tried printing the pdf to file, which also resulted in the aforementioned issue. Filling out the pdf and saving it as docx also loses the data in the form fields. Saving it as docx and then adding changes will work, however this is not a very feasible method for forms with automated calculations in some fields.

Thanks for the detailed report — losing form data and signatures on save is definitely not expected. To help us reproduce and fix this:

  1. Could you record a short video showing:

    • Opening the PDF
    • Filling a form field + adding a PNG signature
    • Saving + closing
    • Reopening and data being gone

    Upload it to ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, kDrive, or Google Drive and share the link.

  2. Please share the original PDF file (with forms) so we can test it exactly. Upload it the same way and drop the link.

  3. Did you save the file to any external/virtual storage (e.g., FTP, cloud sync, mounted drive, Nextcloud, etc.) or just locally on your Ubuntu machine?
