Owncloud with desktop editors

Hi,

Please help - I want to edit a docx file stored in an owncloud server with the desktop editor for mac – version: 9.0.0 555-172 Apple Silicon

I refer to this: Integration Guides ownCloud - ONLYOFFICE

When I do like described in the docu, I get a prompt to save the file locally. I guess this is not what I want to do… do anybody has experience with this?

Please provide the following info:

  1. What is the ownCloud version that you use?
  2. A screen recording of the issue reproduction

ownCloud 10.15.2 (stable)

It’s just asking the password. When I log in I can browse through the files and then I may click one item. But it doesn’t open the file directly in onlyoffice but just asks me where to save it. It’s like I’d download the file in a browser.
