Opening multiple documents in a short period of time significantly slows down page loading speed

Hello. After upgrading OnlyOffice to version 9.0.4, we initially felt the experience had improved significantly, including the page UI and loading speed. However, with increased usage, we found that page loading speed becomes very slow when multiple users are using the app (or when multiple users open 5-6 document pages on a single client).

By opening the browser’s developer tools, we found that the slow page loading was caused by the slow response from the “/c/shareKey” API, as shown in the image below:

We are using the enterprise version of OnlyOffice, and we have since upgraded to version 9.1.0, but the problem persists.

We’ve searched online and found that the “/c/shareKey” interface is related to document collaboration. Could it be a performance issue with the service itself, or is it due to insufficient server configuration (server configuration: 8-core CPU, 32GB RAM, 300GB SSD)?

We hope to understand the root cause of the slow “/c/shareKey” interface and find a solution, as it is currently impacting our work.

Thanks.

Hey @hejx,

Thanks for the detailed report and screenshot — that /c/shareKey slowdown with multiple concurrent documents sounds frustrating, especially after the upgrade.

Since you’re using the Enterprise Edition (and likely have a license), the fastest way to get priority support is through our dedicated system: ONLYOFFICE Support. Your ticket there will be handled by the team right away, and they can dive into server configs, collaboration performance, or potential tweaks for your setup (8-core/32GB/300GB SSD is solid, but scaling might need tuning).
