For bug reports, provide the steps to reproduce and if possible a minimal demo of the problem.
OS version: Windows 10
App version: ONLYOFFICE 9.2.1.43
Downloaded from: ONLYOFFICE website / Other (specify). Please point us to the installation guide that you used as well.
Additional information:

Hallo
LG Georgie

Hi @georgie
Please note that the official languages of this community are English and Chinese.
As for the repeated “Set ONLYOFFICE as the default PDF app” notification: Desktop Editors performs a regular check of file associations, so this prompt may appear again even after you click “No”.
We agree this behavior should be more user-friendly, and we will consider how to improve it. We’ve already created an internal task to review this logic and add a more convenient option in the app UI.

In the meantime, we’ll contact you via private message and share a workaround that should disable these notifications on Windows.

I want to express my support of this. I do want to have it as default for pdf. But I already use M365 for word excel etc… As sad as it is, but I do not want to use OnlyOffice as default for docx or xlsx at the moment.

Hello, @Juno
You can set ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors as the default app for specific file formats individually (per extension) in Windows “Default apps” settings using this guide.
And disable the file association notifications for the remaining formats (I’ll send you the instructions on how to do this via a private message).
It won’t affect the default app settings, and it also won’t affect other ONLYOFFICE notifications.
