ONLYOFFICE turns 16 — and you helped shape it 🎉

Happy birthday to us — and a huge thank you to all of you!

ONLYOFFICE turns 16, and this community has been a real part of that journey. Over the past year, many of the ideas, requests, and discussions posted here helped shape improvements in the editors.

Here are some of the features that started with your feedback:

  • Right-to-left text direction support — for users working in Arabic, Hebrew, and other RTL languages
  • HEIC image support — you can now insert iPhone photos directly, no conversion needed
  • Copy & paste pages between PDF files — move pages from one PDF into another
  • Open password-protected PDFs — no more “format not supported” on locked files
  • Toggle chart elements on/off — show or hide trendlines, labels, and equations in your charts
  • Custom keyboard shortcuts in Desktop Editors — set your own shortcuts for the actions you use most
  • Desktop Editors for Linux ARM — native builds for Raspberry Pi and other ARM64 devices
  • View mode on mobile — open documents without accidentally editing them
  • Cmd+Shift+Z as Redo on macOS — the shortcut now works as expected
  • Remember last cursor position — reopen a document and pick up right where you left off
And we’d love to keep that going!

A special shout-out to our most active community members.

We also want to give a shout-out to some of the community members who’ve been especially active this year — your bug reports, feature ideas, and answers to other users make a real difference. And if you’re one of the members we mention below, keep an eye on your DMs — we’ve got a small thank-you coming your way:
