I’m running into a frustrating issue with OnlyOffice and external shares, hoping someone here might have seen this before.
My setup

Nextcloud version: 31.0.12

OnlyOffice app version: 9.11.0

OnlyOffice Document Server: Docker container
The problem:
When I share Excel files via external share (public link/email), people can’t open them in OnlyOffice. They get the error: “You don’t have enough permissions to view the file”
The weird thing is:

When I’m logged in as a user, Excel files open perfectly fine in OnlyOffice

PDFs shared externally work without issues (they don’t use OnlyOffice)

The share permissions are definitely set to “Read” and “Edit”
So it seems like OnlyOffice just doesn’t want to work with external/anonymous users, even though everything looks configured correctly.
Has anyone else experienced this after updating to Nextcloud 31.0.12?
This is a known bug with this version combination?
Any suggestions would be really appreciated! This used to work fine before, so I’m a bit stumped.
