MS Visio and Diagram Support

Hi,

I just downloaded OnlyOffice today, it looks professional and I like that it is focused on working with MS document types first, however I think that onlyoffice would be a much more rounded office suite if there was support for diagramming and opening/editing visio files. This would provide a free alternative to visio (which I think is overpriced for what it is) and more feature parity with Libreoffice (adding an alternative to Libreoffice Draw). I understand it would be a large undertaking as it would mean adding an entirely new editor to the onlyoffice suite, but I was wondering if this was planned in future development.

We are discussing internally the possibility of adding support of MS Visio files. Unfortunately, I cannot specify any time frames.

Update: unfortunately, we have no plans of adding support for this file type.

@HarryTruman We added the support of Visio files (for view only) in the version 9.0 of the Document Server and Desktop Editors.

Thanks, Carl. We are seeing a lot of need for editable Visio files. What can we do to get that on the roadmap?

It is already on the roadmap, but, unfortunately, there is no ETA available at the moment.
