Mail Merge 'From Storage' returns HTTP 403 (Error -23) in DocSpace Cloud — 'From File' works

I’m having an issue with Mail Merge → From Storage in DocSpace. It was working fine before, but recently it started showing this error:

You are trying to perform an action you do not have rights for. Please contact your Document Server administrator.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open a Word document in DocSpace.

  2. Go to Mail Merge → From Storage.

  3. Select an Excel spreadsheet from DocSpace.

  4. The error appears.

The browser console shows:

  • HTTP 403 Forbidden on /downloadas/

  • Warning code -23

Both my Word and Excel files have Full Access permissions. I’ve also tried downloading and re-uploading the Excel file, but the issue remains.

Interestingly, Mail Merge → From File works perfectly with the same Excel file. Only From Storage fails.

Is this a known issue or something that changed recently in DocSpace Cloud?
