First I would like to thank you for creating ONLYOFFICE - it’s fulfilling my requirements.
However, I’m having a problem with using iOS app, which is using old version of my document.
ONLYOFFICE Mobile: Documents
Do you want to: Report a bug
Device: iPhone SE 2nd Gen
OS version: iOS 18.6.2
App version: 9.0.4 (1117)
Mode: DocSpace
Additional information:
I’m having room, which only I’m using
in room I have a single spreadsheet
collaborating on this spreadsheet works using web version and desktop version. The changes I’m doing in web or desktop are visible for each other
however when I open mentioned spreadsheet using iOS app, then on iOS app I do not see changes enter via web or desktop. It works also vice versa - changes made on iOS app are not visible on web or desktop
It seems like iOS app is using some other version of spreadsheet.
Are you the single user in collaborative mode? Do you see amount of users in top right corner in desktop version when file is opened both from desktop (either a browser or Desktop Editors) and mobile app at the same time?
I can see the amount of users - it is showing the correct value when connected using browser and mobile version
Also real-time collaboration from iOS and browser editors started working again today. I haven’t changed anything, but it is working now. I can see in browser editor the changes made on iOS and vice versa.
Hello @Damian
I’ve tried to reproduce the situation, but without luck so far.
Could you please clarify what Room have you created for this test? Also, is the issue reproducible in the ‘Documents’ folder?
What is the sequence of actions that leads to this behavior? Do you refresh the list of documents in the mobile app before opening a document that has been edited in desktop?
Sorry for late response. I’ve just re-check the issue and I was able to reproduce it on following setup with following steps:
Test setup:
Mac Mini with macOS 15.6.1
Web browser: Brave 1.83.109
OnlyOffice for macOS 9.0.4
iPhone with iOS 18.6.2
OnlyOffice for iOS 9.0.4
Repro steps:
3. Open DocSpace in desktop web browser.
4. Go to Documents.
5. Create new spreadsheet.
6. Edit cell.
7. Open same spreadsheet on desktop OnlyOffice app.
8. Verify that cell edited in web browser has proper value
9. Edit another cell.
10. Switch back to web browser.
11. Verify that cell edited in desktop app has proper value.
12. Open iOS app.
13. Open same spreadsheet like on desktop app and web browser.
14. Cell edited (in desktop app and in web browser) do not contain any values.
Back to original problem, it seems it is resolved since I’ve updated to version 9.1.0 on iOS. I can edit files from iOS and changes are visible for desktop and vice versa. I’ve been testing this for few last days and seems to be working.
