Inserting narrow non-break spacing

I’d like to know if I can insert a narrow non-breaking space between characters. I’m new to OnlyOffice and found out how to insert a non-breaking space. I do a lot of scientific writing, so when I write, for example, 5 mg, I prefer to put a narrow non-breaking space between the 5 and the m.

Can I do this?

Hello @Devro

Nonbreaking space can be added with Ctrl+⇧ Shift+␣ Spacebar combination.

You can refer to the list available short cuts for document editor here:

Thanks, Constantine. I found that, but I need to know how to insert a narrow non-breaking space.

Sorry for misunderstanding. Do you mean a Unicode character that represents a narrow non-breaking space?

Hi, Constantine. I presume it should be a Unicode character, but I don’t know. All I do know is that it can be done in LibreOffice and SoftMaker.

How would you do that in named processors? Can you share an example?

In Libre Office, you can add the command to the toolbar by going into Tools > Customize > Toolbars, then from Available Commands, select Insert No-break Space.

Hello @Devro
We’re checking the situation. I will contact you shortly.

Dear @Devro
Insert > Symbol > More Symbols > Unicode 202F

Thank you so much, Alexandre. It works a treat!
