The AI plugin is beginning to become a credible alternative. However, several issues remain: (1) AI-based spelling correction is currently available only in the text editor, not in presentations or spreadsheets; (2) correction suggestions are provided in English (the prompt sent to the AI should specify the language in which the AI should return its results); (3) error display is often incorrect (corrections are frequently accurate, but what appears in the popup is not).
