First of all, thank you for all the fantastic work you’re doing!
I’d like to suggest a feature that could be really helpful for the Presentation Editor: the ability to set the language for the entire document with just one click.
Here’s why: I’m currently working on a presentation, and due to a bug in OnlyOffice, some text boxes are in French while others are in English. It’s been quite tedious to manually check and change the language for each text box.
Wouldn’t it be great to have a quick way to enforce a single language across the whole document?
Thank you very much for your kind words and for your suggestion — we really appreciate it!
In the Presentation Editor, you can already set the language for the whole presentation at once: click the language indicator on the right side of the status bar, select the required language in the opened window, and click OK. The selected language will then be applied to the entire presentation.
If the behavior on your side is different and some text boxes still keep another language after that, please send us a short description of the issue and a short video showing the behavior so we can check it.
If I misunderstood your request, please clarify what exact scenario you mean.
Thank you for the video and the additional details!
We will check this behavior on our side and get back to you with an update as soon as we have more information.
Thank you again for your suggestion and for explaining your use case in detail.
At the moment, there is no way to apply a new text language to all existing placeholders in a presentation in a single step — the language must be changed manually for each placeholder.
We have registered this request in our internal tracker as a separate task: to implement functionality that allows changing the text language (Set text language) for the entire presentation at once.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide an exact ETA, but we do plan to consider this improvement for future versions of the Presentation Editor. We will update this thread as soon as there is any news or progress on the implementation.
