How to stop suggestion from appearing above cells while typing in Calc

Hello,

While using Calc, the Windows-style input suggestions appear right on top of the cell I’m typing in, which is extremely distracting. Is there any way to move these suggestions away from the active cell? (Please note: I am not looking for the ‘Autocomplete’ option in the Plugin Manager.)

The issue is caused by the “Show text suggestions when typing on the physical keyboard” setting in Windows 11.

If I turn this feature off, the suggestions no longer appear. However, since this feature is useful, I would like to keep it on. I just wish the suggestions wouldn’t block the active cell.

Regarding my Windows environment:

  • Edition: Windows 11 Pro

  • Version: 25H2

  • OS Build: 26200.8246

In the image you provided, it looks like you are using the ONLYOFFICE “Autocomplete” plugin. However, I would like to clarify my situation.

I do not use the Autocomplete plugin because I primarily work in French, and the plugin does not support it. Instead, I would like to use the Windows native “text suggestions” feature, as I do with other applications.

While these suggestions do work in ONLYOFFICE, the suggestion window appears directly on top of the cell I am typing in, obstructing my view…

Please accept my sincere apologies. Indeed, I had enabled plugin and it slipped my mind.
I have rechecked the situation and reproduced the case. We’re looking into it. I will contact you as soon as possible.
