How to remove the video play bar in presentation mode?

Dear Sir/Madam,

The video play bar won’t dissappear in presentation mode when using ONLYOFFICE on my Linux computer. After trouble shooting online, I am not able to find a way to remove it. It is aesthetically not pleasing to show a video like this and the playbar can also cover important information such as subtitles. Do you know how I can remove the playbar in presentation mode?

Looking forward to hearing form you. Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Marsha

Hey @Marsha,

Thanks for reaching out and sharing your feedback about the video play bar in presentation mode on ONLYOFFICE!
Unfortunately, there’s currently no option to hide the play bar in presentation mode. I’ll create a suggestion to add this feature for future updates.

Appreciate your input — I’ll keep you posted on any progress! :hugs:

@Marsha

Thanks again for your feedback about the video play bar in ONLYOFFICE presentation mode!
We’ve logged your suggestion to add an option to hide it.

I can’t give a timeline for implementation yet, but I’ll definitely update this thread as soon as it’s available in a future version. :handshake:

Is it possible to play, pause or stop the video with shortcuts?

Hey @Dinogebiss,

Unfortunately, I don’t see any workaround for shortcuts to play/pause/stop videos in presentation mode yet. I’ve added your request to the existing bug report.

No timeline on the fix, but I’ll update this thread as soon as there’s progress.

Hi Nicolas,

Great, thanks for letting me now.

I look forward to the updated version where you’ll be able to hide the video play bar in presentation mode. :slightly_smiling_face:
