Have two documents open at once (in separate windows)

Hello @lwik and @0ih6depiq
We have added your requests, and I can assure you that we’re actively working on it right now. I hope we will be able to share some news soon.

I’m so disappointed that this hasn’t been implemented yet on the Mac. I had every intention of switching my household over to this and getting rid of MS 365 and now can’t. It’s the one feature my wife must have to be productive with the documents and spreadsheets she works with. I guess I’ll keep it installed and set up a bot for notification of any changes, but it’s been two years since it was originally brought up. I have a hard time believing it will actually get implemented at this point. I REALLY like this app. So unfortunate.

Hey @WSM,

We completely understand your disappointment — and the frustration shared by everyone in this thread.

Good news: the developers are actively working on native multi-window support for macOS right now.
This feature is targeted for version 9.3 (desktop apps), and if all testing goes smoothly, it should land around end of February 2026.

I’ll make sure to ping you (and update the thread) the moment we have a more precise release date or beta news.
Thanks for sticking with us and for the honest feedback — it really matters. Hang in there!
