Further development of Onlyoffice Community Server (Workspace)

OS: Ubuntu

Dear Onlyoffice team, is the community version still being developed? The last update to version 12.7.1.1942 was released in December 2024. On the contrary, the document server/editor was updated several times up to version 9.1 in 2025.

Thank you very much for your question.
Only security patches are planned for Workspace in the near future, and we cannot guarantee that any new features will be included in these releases.
The most advanced options are now available in ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, our flagship product.

This is very disappointing. There is lots of room for improvement in the calendar functionality; things I reported years ago.

It makes me seriously question whether it’s worth continuing with a paid subscription.

At the same time our main development efforts and new features are now focused on ONLYOFFICE DocSpace as our flagship product.

Hi, you say you are open to discussion, but you aren’t really.

For example, if you update a recurring calendar entry, it deletes all prior entries in the series. It doesn’t ask, it just does.

Calendars appear to be for personal use only. With 20 users, the calendar regularly gets incredibly slow. You don’t know why, and apparently don’t care?

As mentioned earlier, our main development focus has shifted to DocSpace, while Workspace is maintained with stability and security updates.
