I miss a few things regarding images, especially in presentation :
Image crop : in addition to cropping with the mouse, the possibility to crop by giving the actual length to remove on top/bottom/left/right. It would be very useful for reports where we insert many almost identical illustrations and need them to be cropped the same way
Image size reduction : once an image is inserted, reduced and/or cropped, it would be great to have an option to compress the selected image (and even remove cropped areas) to reduce the file size
Regarding image compression and removing cropped areas: we already have an internal feature request for adding image compression options similar to those available in other office suites. I’ve added your case to this request so that your scenario is taken into account.
As for cropping: in the current version of the editors, there is already an option to set numeric parameters for images (width/height and position), which can help align illustrations and keep them visually consistent. Please update ONLYOFFICE to the latest version and check whether this behavior meets your needs.
If something works differently on your side, or if we misunderstood your idea, could you please clarify it in more detail? It would be very helpful if you could attach screenshots or references from other applications where the exact behavior you need is already implemented.
