Double clicking column does not expand the row width to match all the text

If i double click the column in-between A and B it does not fully expand the column so that all the text fits in the column on 1 row instead it increases in width slightly. I’m using openoffice v9.1.0.169

Thank you for the detailed information. Based on your description and further investigation, the behavior you are seeing is almost certainly due to the Wrap Text function being enabled on the cells in that column.

This is consistent across major spreadsheet programs, including MS Excel.
To fix this, please turn off Wrap text and try the scenario again.
If the problem persists, let us know.
