Docker install requires licence key

just installed for the third time today today Workspace community edition and it starts up and requires a license key.

got the installer from wget http://download.onlyoffice.com/install/workspace-install.sh

then bash workspace-install.sh

can someone assist please, or provide a key that will allow me to get started

Hey @chrisswain,

The problem is that you accidentally downloaded and ran the Enterprise Edition installation script (you can see it in the container name: onlyoffice/documentserver-ee).

That’s why it’s asking for a licence key – the EE version always requires one, even during the first start.

Quick solutions:

  1. If you want the free Community Edition (no licence key needed):
Installing ONLYOFFICE Workspace Community using the provided script

  2. If you actually want the Enterprise Edition (more features, 30-day trial available) – just write to sales@onlyoffice.com and they’ll send you a trial key immediately. (or fill the form:Download ONLYOFFICE Workspace | ONLYOFFICE)

Most users in your situation just go with option 1 and everything starts working right away

Let me know which way you’d like to go and I’ll help you through the next steps!
