Dealing with error "The document editing session has expired. Please reload the page."

I keep getting this in every single file I try to edit. Even in the Sample file. I am using a selfhosted community version.

To help us find the root cause quickly, could you please provide:

  1. A short screen recording (with browser DevTools open → Console + Network tabs visible) showing:

    • Opening any file
    • Getting the error
    • Any red errors in the console

  2. Exact versions you’re running:

    • DocSpace version
    • Document Server version

  3. A few lines from the Document Server logs when the error happens
    (usually in /var/log/onlyoffice/documentserver/ or wherever you installed it – especially converter and docservice logs)

You can upload the video/logs anywhere (ONLYOFFICE DocSpace, Google Drive, etc.) and drop the links here.
