Deactivate Auto-Suggest / Predictive typing

Although I appreciate all the work that has gone into creating OnlyOffice, I do not understand why to this day the document editor will not let me type in peace, like all other word processors. It constantly hounds me with incessant and annoying auto-suggestions in German and English. At times, these even cover up the sentence I am currently typing. I am aware that this feature can be deactivated in Windows, but I actually need it in other types of programs. Please deactivate auto-suggest / predictive typing by default.

Hello @merinber

I understand the frustration it may cause. However, as far as I know, system-wide setting for text-predictions, i.e. the one in keyboard settings, is not related to the suggestions of the app. Basically, if the app has such feature, then it can be disabled, but if you are using system-wide option, then editor cannot disable it.

I have tested it in several processors, but if text prediction is enabled in keyboard settings, then it will always appear in every processor I use, despite similar feature being disabled in the processor itself.

Hi,
I surely don’t want to flog a dead horse but…in other office programs, such as SoftMaker Office. these suggestions do not pop up as soon as I type something. Windows system-wide predictive typing is activated. I would venture to say that this is something baked in OnlyOffice. For that reason, one should be able to turn it off. My gut feeling is that most users find it annoying. Since I do it need for my language-learning program, I leave the Windows setting on. Having to change this setting each time I want to use OnlyOffice is not an option for me.

Can you provide a link to the documentation of named processor that describes how to disable text predictions?
