How can I create left, right, and bottom borders in OnlyOffice using conditional formatting?
Hey @Reintje ![]()
Could you clarify — do you want to set cell borders via conditional formatting, or just add borders normally?
I haven’t tried this before, so it would help if you could explain a bit more about what’s missing or show how it works in other editors.
Hey @Nikolas
It’s about conditional formatting. In that case, I can’t format the cell with a line on the left, right, and bottom. In normal formatting mode, it’s not a problem, of course. But with conditional formatting, I can only apply a line to one side at a time.

Ok, I understand the issue is with conditional formatting, but could you show how it should look since I’ve never tried this and might not grasp the exact steps needed to reproduce it?
Yup, it’s possible that the functionality you’re requesting isn’t available, but it would be great if you could attach a video or instructions showing how it’s implemented in other editors if you’ve worked with them!
Sorry, wrong post!
@Nikolas
Thanks for your reply.
It’s difficult to download an example, so I’ll try to explain it as best I can.If a cell meets a certain condition, for example, when a certain date is reached, the formatting of that cell needs to be adjusted. I want a border on the left, right, and bottom.I can easily do that in normal formatting, but in conditional formatting, I can only create one border. As soon as I click a second border, the first border disappears. I haven’t been able to find a way to apply it in conditional mode, but perhaps it’s not possible at all.
Hello @Reintje ![]()
Thank you for the clarification. We’ll review your suggestion and get back to you after some time. If we have any additional questions, we will reach out to you.
Thanks again!
Hello @Reintje, ![]()
Thank you for your suggestion regarding multiple border options in conditional formatting. We’ve noted it and passed it to our development team for consideration. I hope this feature will be included in one of our future releases, but unfortunately, I can’t provide a timeline just yet.
Thank you for your valuable contribution! If you have any further ideas or questions, feel free to share.
