Hi
When I want to apply conditional cell formatting using a formula based on the pattern: IF D1=“XXX” then color cells A1:C1 green and then save the table, the formatting is ineffective after reopening the table, meaning that it is no longer applied.
If I then change any character in the formatting, save it, and execute it once, the entire formatting works again.
Is this bug already known, or are there any working solutions for it?
I work in .xlsx format, but switching to .ods format does not improve the situation.
To reproduce and test it faster on our side, could you please:
Record a short video showing the steps from start to finish:
Create the conditional formatting rule with the IF formula
Apply it (works initially)
Save → close → reopen → formatting is gone
Then edit → save → it works again
Upload the video to ONLYOFFICE DocSpace / Google Drive / kDrive / Dropbox and share the link here.
Attach the sample .xlsx file (or a minimal version that shows the issue).
You can upload it directly to this thread.
This will help us see exactly what’s happening and confirm if it’s a bug.
Also, just a quick note: the primary format for ONLYOFFICE is OOXML (.xlsx for spreadsheets). When you open .ods files, they are internally converted to .xlsx for editing — so switching to .ods won’t change the behavior here.
Thanks a lot for your help — looking forward to the video/file!
