I don’t see a option to resize table columns, even though a search says you can resize table columns, and there are really old YouTube videos showing it as a feature. Is feature not available on Android?
PS: I am on mobile and cannot properly add tags to this topic.
Hi,
Please make sure you are using the latest version of ONLYOFFICE on your device, and then check table column resizing again.
Also, could you clarify whether you are working in the ONLYOFFICE Documents mobile app or in the web editor in the Brave browser? This will help us reproduce your exact scenario.
If the problem persists after updating, please record a short video demonstrating the issue (from opening the document to attempting to resize the table columns) and share it with us so we can investigate further.
On Android app, I cannot resize tables. On Brave mobile browser, I can.
On Android app, I cannot copy and paste whole tables, only the content inside. On Brave mobile browser, I cannot test this because I cannot select(highlight) text.
Please note that drag-to-resize by touching a column border (where the adjacent column adjusts automatically to maintain the total table width) is not available on mobile at the moment. However, you can still change the column width manually via the table settings.
As for copying and pasting the whole table in the Android app, thank you for reporting this. We have registered this behavior as a bug and forwarded it to our team for further investigation.
At the moment, it is possible to change the width of individual table columns manually in the mobile app. Please see the attached video for the exact steps.
As for drag-to-resize for table columns and rows in DOCX documents, we have registered this as a feature request in our internal system.
Unfortunately, we do not have an exact ETA for its implementation yet, but we will update this thread as soon as we have any news.
Yes, you can resize individual columns on moble app, thank you for correcting me.
However, when resizing I wish there was an option I could enable the table to remain 100% width of the document. So when adjusting one column width, the others auto-adjust to maintain 100% width.
Thank you for the clarification and for sharing your suggestion.
We have added your comment to the existing feature request in our internal tracker. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact ETA at the moment, but we will update this thread as soon as we have any news.
The issue with copying and pasting tables in DOCX documents in the Android app, where only the cell contents were pasted instead of the entire table, has been fixed in this version. Please update ONLYOFFICE to the latest version to get the fix.
