Since the last update it isn’t possible to open a file within the cloud.
I only get the error “connection lost: view mode activated” and a white screen.
It happens with existing files and new created files.

I reinstalled the app and cleared the cache, for trouble shooting, didn’t worked.

Just to narrow it down — does this happen with every file or only with a specific one?
If it’s just one file, could you share a link to it (feel free to send it via private message)?
It would also help a lot if you could describe the exact steps you take before the error appears, so we can try to reproduce it on our side.

it happens to every file I try to open.
I open the app, open my cloud and click on documents.
Within this folder I open a file, it loads and after it I get the error.
I’ve already tried to create a complete new file, same problem.
A local document works fine.

Hello.
I have the same problem. Not every time.
I adressed this in another topic i created earlier this morning.
What seems to work, or worked so far, is to open the file in the desktop app or in docspace and then try again in the smartphone app.

Yeah. Tried this several hours ago to. This workaround works for me too.
But it isn’t what we want
I bet the devs are already trying to fix it.

The issue with “connection lost: view mode activated” has been identified, and it will be fixed in the next release of the mobile application.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide an exact timeline for the update yet, but as soon as the fix is available, I will notify you.
