Currently, when sorting cells alphabetically, the Spanish letter ñ is treated as if it were the letter n with a special accent. However, in Spanish, ñ is a completely different letter, with its own position in the alphabet after letter n.
For example, when sorting alphabetically, the surname “Caña” is placed before “Cano”, whereas according to Spanish alphabetical order, “Cano” should come before “Caña”.
Thank you for considering this suggestion.
Hello @lblancodom
Please specify which locale (language) in the editor is being used, dictionary language from Advanced settings and version of Desktop Editors.
Language is “Español (Spanish)” and version is 9.2.1.43. Thanks!
Yeah, and the dictionary is “Español - España (Spanish - Spain)”.
Thank you. Originally I was unable to reproduce the issue with Spanish keyboard layout, but in further tests with copying words with “ñ” from any source I managed to do it. I have provided the scenario to the QA team to confirm, please await my feedback.
