Like MS Excel, allow protecting worksheets without a password; make it optional. I frequently want to protect a worksheet only to prevent unwanted changes due to fat fingering or accidentally clicking on the wrong cell. The worksheet gets shared and edited by different people and it is inconvenient to repeatedly have to enter a password.
Thank you for the suggestion! This is actually already supported — the password is optional when protecting a sheet. Just go to Protection → Protect Sheet and leave the password fields empty, then click Protect. Anyone will be able to unprotect it without a password.
If you don’t see this option, please make sure you’re using the latest version of ONLYOFFICE Docs (currently 9.4).
