PDF Viewer can't do ocr?

hello everyone
i had this issue
when i open pdf (normally i using adobe acrobat DC)
then when i want to search something, just press CTRL+F then they will do the ocr for me, and convert the file to editable and search-able document.

i hear that onlyoffice had it too. but when i try to test with literal same document
they seems not working
can you check them? or they not yet ready?

Thanks for reaching out about OCR in ONLYOFFICE’s PDF Viewer! You’re right — currently, our OCR plugin (OCR Plugin) only supports text recognition for PNG and JPG images, not PDFs.

We’ve got a suggestion logged to add OCR support for other formats like PDF, TIFF, and XPS, but I don’t have a timeline for when that might roll out.

I’ll keep you posted if there’s any progress! :hugs:
