PDF Editor: Add Single Page View mode (disable continuous scrolling)

Type: Suggest a feature

OS version: macOS 26

App version: 9.2.1

Downloaded from: ONLYOFFICE website

Description:

The current PDF viewer/editor uses a continuous vertical scrolling layout. There is no option to switch to a “Single Page View” mode where one page is displayed at a time without continuous scrolling.

Many PDF workflows provide discrete page navigation rather than infinite scroll.

Examples:

• Reviewing technical drawings or engineering documents
• Presentation-style navigation

Most dedicated PDF applications such as Preview (macOS) and Adobe Acrobat include:

• Single Page View
• Continuous Scroll
• Two-Page View
• Two-Page Continuous

ONLYOFFICE currently supports only continuous scrolling.

Expected behaviour:

Add a View option that allows:

• Single Page View (one page visible at a time)
• Optional keyboard navigation between pages
• Possibly Two-Page View in future

This would significantly improve document review workflows and bring the PDF editor closer to feature parity with standard PDF viewers.

Why this matters:

Continuous scroll works well for reading, but it is not ideal for structured document review. Providing a page-based view mode would improve usability and make the PDF editor more suitable for professional use cases.

Still applicable to 9.3.0

Hey @apotenza92,

Thanks a lot for the clear and well-thought-out suggestion — adding a Single Page View mode (disabling continuous scrolling) in the PDF editor would definitely be a great improvement.

I’ve passed your request straight to the team — they’ll review it.

Appreciate you bringing this up. Thank you very much! :hugs:
I’ll let you know here if there’s any progress.
