a couple months ago, I was unable to import documents from google drive (https://helpcenter.onlyoffice.com/workspace/administration/connect-google.aspx) support said it wasn’t working. is it fixed yet?
Hello,
You tagged this topic as DocSpace, but the guide you shared is for Workspace.
Could you please clarify which ONLYOFFICE product you are referring to: DocSpace or Workspace? Also, please specify the exact product version and how it was installed (for example Docker, Linux package, Windows, or cloud).
Hi! thanks! I’m using DocSpace- online - the free version. I was looking at importing my files from google, so this is not an option for me?
They said it wasnt working. I wrote them “I have my api code and secret code, but when I go to settings->integrations->third party services, I can not click on google to enter my clientid and secret. google is enabled.” Their response was: “Unfortunately, for now this option is not available. Please note, our developers are working over it. Unfortunately, we cannot say when it will be fixed. We apologize for all the inconveniences caused! “
To clarify the current behavior in ONLYOFFICE DocSpace: Google Drive is currently available only for authorization. It is not possible to use Google Drive as storage for backups or to create a public room connected to Google Drive at the moment.
As for Google Cloud Storage, this option is supposed to work after enabling it in the portal settings under /portal-settings/integration/third-party-services. However, we have reproduced a problem on our side: when a valid Google Cloud service account JSON is added, the request fails with a 400 validation error. This issue has already been passed to our developers for further investigation.
Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA for the fix yet. We will update the thread as soon as we have any news.
