Request to enhance the existing OnlyOffice Docs API to add the option for Simple Markup in the Display Mode menu, under the Collaborations Tab, that allows you to make further edits while viewing your final version. Though the Final Version option that is currently part of the platform is similar to this tool, the user in unable to make further edits while in Final Version mode, which creates extra work for the user. Having to switch back and forth between the Mark up and Final versions of the document requires multiple extra clicks and extends the time it takes to edit policies.

Thanks for the suggestion and for linking the GitHub issue — I completely understand why this would be super useful! Being able to view the clean final layout while still making edits (like Simple Markup in Word) would save a lot of switching back and forth.

I’m also in favor of adding this feature — it’s a great idea.
Unfortunately, right now not enough users have shown strong interest in it, so it hasn’t climbed high on the priority list yet.
