Error in OnlyOffice Spreadsheet

I have noticed that in spreadsheets, when you export a file from another editor that contains accented letters or words, ONLYOFFICE changes them and either displays a special character or omits the letter. I have just seen this in Spanish files, and it does this in both uppercase and lowercase words. Although it shows no changes in the text bar, if you edit the text, it does not change, but if you write in an unedited cell in the same file, the text is respected.

For example:
ÁREA DE INTERÉS
Swap the accented A in the word “Área” and the accented E in the word “Interés" by special characters

best regards

Hello @Zhay_Prz

Please specify version of Desktop Editors that is being used currently. Also, is it possible to create and provide a sample document that produces such behavior? I have attempted to create several spreadsheets with Spanish accents in different processors, but opening them in Desktop Editors nor changing adjacent cells doesn’t produce described behavior.

Same here :Community version 9.2.1.43 (arm64 exe) on windows

Hello @theking2

Can you provide a sample file for a test along with a scenario? My tests, as I have mentioned, did not return any results so far.

I have updated the application, and it seems that I no longer have the recurring problem. However, at the time, I reported the issue in detail.

The error is only visible in Onlyoffice on Windows 11 on Fedora it seems to work fine. Must be utf8 encoding on Windows 11

I do not have such issue with umlauts on Win11.

Since the document is protected, can you share which font it is using?

The font that is used is arial.

Btw this problem only is visible when
Using OnlyOffice on Windows 11.

ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors
Community-Version 9.3.1.8 (x64 exe)

The same document on Fedora OnlyOffice is displayed fine.

The document was shared online using kdrive. It was not created by me.

As you can see, I do not have such issue with this file. Can you re-install your Arial font? Also, let me know if any settings were changed in Desktop Editors.
