Its not possible to change the column width of tables inserted in Only Office Documents in Only Office Mobile version. This can be done is web version when accessed via a laptop. Its nice to have this when using mobile version.
This is now available in ONLYOFFICE Documents! You can resize table columns and rows directly in the mobile app.
Try it out in the latest version!
How? I cannot seem to figure it out on Android.
Hi @Xarcell,
Here’s how to do it on Android:
- Tap inside the table to select a cell (or select the column you want to adjust).
- Tap the table/edit icon to open the formatting panel, then go to the Table tab.
- Tap Table Options.
- Under Rows & Columns Size, set the Width and Height values for the selected cells.
You can also enable “Resize to Fit Contents” there if you’d prefer automatic sizing.
Just make sure you’re on version 9.4.0 or later.
This does not work for me. I need to adjust individual column sizes, while maintaining 100% table width.
Thank you for clarifying. The instructions above were for the native ONLYOFFICE Documents Android app.
You’re right that the current implementation only allows setting exact width values per column. Drag-to-resize by touching a column border (where the adjacent column adjusts automatically to maintain the total table width) is not available on mobile at the moment. This is a common limitation across mobile document editors — Microsoft Word on Android does not support this either.
For now, you can set each column’s width individually under Table Options → Rows & Columns Size.
