Embedded MP3 Audio in PPTX Not Playing in ONLYOFFICE Presentation Viewer

Hello ONLYOFFICE team,

I would like to ask about PPTX audio playback support in ONLYOFFICE Docs Community Edition.

I have successfully configured ONLYOFFICE Document Server using Docker and Nginx reverse proxy. PPTX files open correctly, and embedded audio files (MP3/WAV) are detected and extracted properly inside the ONLYOFFICE cache.

The audio icon appears in presentation mode, but no sound is played during slideshow/viewing mode.

I have already verified:

  • FFmpeg and audio codecs are installed

  • MP3 files are valid and playable directly in browser

  • Browser autoplay policies are configured correctly

  • Media files are successfully extracted by ONLYOFFICE

  • The same PPTX file works correctly with Microsoft Office Online Viewer

My question:
Does ONLYOFFICE currently support embedded audio playback in PPTX slideshow mode?

If not, is this feature planned in future releases, or is there any workaround/configuration to enable it?

Indeed, it is not available in web-editors right now. The enhancement on that is registered under the number 39319. Once it gets implemented, we will notify you.
