[Bug] Wrong navigation clicking on illustrations table

Hello,

I’m using OnlyOffice for my final project of master. The problem is the following one:

I’ve three tables of references: index of chapters, illustrations and tables.

As you can see in the video, even if I click on Illustration #4 or Table #4, it goes to the Table #4 element. I’ve tried to remove the illustrations table and create it new and the problem is still present.

I’m using OnlyOffice 9.3.1.8 via FlatPak on Fedora 44.

YouTube link (I’m a new user and I’m not able to upload videos): https://youtube.com/shorts/ZtjhIf_-IeY

Could you take a look to it and check if it is a bug as I expect?

Thank you so much.

Hello, thank you for the report and for the video.

To properly check this behavior on our side, could you please attach the document where the issue occurs? In cases like this, the problem may depend on the document’s structure, so having a sample file will help us reproduce the issue and verify whether this is indeed a bug.

If you prefer not to share the file publicly here, you can send it to me via private message instead. If the file is too large to upload, you can also share it using any cloud storage link.

Hello @Marix ,

It happens with every document, even with a new one. You can check it with the following screen capture: https://youtu.be/-bRjWGJ4kB0

Hello, thank you for the clarification.

We can now see the issue: when a document contains two different tables of figures, navigation may lead to an item with the same number in the other table instead of the correct target.

We have forwarded this case to our QA team for verification and are currently checking the behavior on our side.

We will get back to you here as soon as we have more information.

Hello, thanks again for your patience and for the details you provided.

We’ve checked this behavior on our side and confirmed that your case matches an already registered bug in our internal tracker, although your reproduction scenario is slightly different. Your report has been added to that existing task so it is also taken into account during investigation.

Our QA and development teams are working on this issue, and we’ll update this thread as soon as there is any progress or a fix available in one of the upcoming versions.
