Black background on parts of pdf when printing (not on preview)

App version: can’t find, but downloaded a week ago or so
Downloaded from: ONLYOFFICE website or sourceforge, don’t remember, it says ONLYOFFICEDesktopInstaller.exe and the hover-over-info is ONLYOFFICE Online Installer, Company Ascensio System SIA, Fileversion 3.0.0.19, created 2026-08-22 08.55, Size 1.03MB
I share the exact installer-file that i used.

Printer: Samsung ML-191x 252x Series

I opened a pdf, see link. The pdf is legally (after some registration process) downloaded from a Kellog’s/Pokémon site, so it might have some copyright technique integrated in it. It didn’t let me take a screenshot in Firefox for example. Obviously, this post is not aimed at spreading copyrighted material, but I assume it’s legal for me to provide the file for bugfixing.

When I open the pdf in OnlyOffice it looks normal, see screenshot poke1.

Even the print menue preview looks normal, see screenshot poke2.

But on paper it got black backgrounds for some graphical parts of the picture, see photo poke3.

I tried opening and printing it from Firefox instead, with the same printer, and it turns out fine on paper.

I tried printing page 1 again from OnlyOffice to make sure it wasn’t a one-off and it again had the black backgrounds.

Pretty weired that the wysiwyg doesn’t work with pdf….
